Hmmm today had our ORD. Felt quite emotional the previous night while preparing U cos was like the last time i'm going to do this. haha used to hate it but this time sort of enjoyed it. was thinking back of the courses tt i went through wif the sqd while putting on the badges. think back it was like only ytd tt i joined NP. so fast lo.
hahas yaa today went to sch in e morning. As usual, our sqd is late again. lol last time le we still cont' our tradition. I think everyone look really cool when they put on their uniform cos there was like so many badges and the rank all big big one lol. Boon Goon nearly died trying to gather all of us then we went to the auditorium for the concert.hmmm was watching the cadets perform then thought of the same thing tt we did when we were cadets then. really cant believe its our turn seating there watching the performance. hmmm i think the nicest part of the concert was when ppl giving their speeches. Felt really touched to hear all the cadets thanking us. It's like seeing all the efforts tt u had put in being paid off and appreciated by others. lol all the officers sae tt our sqd caused them alot of problems and trouble but we are a really fun and special sqd to work wif. I AGREE!!! i think our sqd is darn cool lo. frm the very beginning we had been doing incredible stunts and make the most ridiculous proposals. i think we are the first generation of nco who dare to do such things since the start of NHNP history. hmmm during the nco's speech, there was like so much to sae but so little time to spare. i felt like going through every little things tt e sqd had been through together again. anw i think my speech was long enough.
Then there was the video presentation featuring our sqd. hmmm was thoroughly moved by the video. when u look at it then recall wad we had done together for the past four yrs. Its amazing to rmb the wonderful times u had spent wif a grp of ppl who once used to be strangers for a quarter of ur life:
Rmb the times how we got scolded and punished. Rmb the trainings and parades. Rmb how we survived through sickening camps. Rmb how we used to fight and blame one another. Rmb how we shared the joy of success. Rmb how we sobbed through failures. Rmb how each of us was there to support one another. Rmb how we shared canned foods and stuff. Rmb jow we enjoyed Sean's performances. Rmb how we cursed the same ppl. Rmb how we stood up for one another. Rmb the voices of every individaul though i used to hate some ppl's.
After the video, our sqd went on stage to perform the song, MY LOVE and i think we really sang our hearts out. The voice tt u hear if u were present is really the product of four yrs in NP. hmmm then went to cut cake and had buffet after the concert. The sqd then went to Np room to take photos. Hahas had a great time snapping those pictures with all of them. kh went mad i think. lol he realised tt he did not hav a picture of himself in Np then chiong to get into every picture. All of us then went up to the hall for unit photo-taking session.
Last part was the POP. can tell tt the sqd xin qin very chen zong. i was holding the flag with lots of thoughts backflowing as well. A mixed feeling of happiness and sadness when u noe tt u hav done ur part and its time to leave and hand things to a new batch of ppl.
It all ended. went to took pictures and sae my last few words to my dearest sec2 sqd. hmmm but i guess everyone was reluctant to remove their uniform then. So, e whole grp of us went to eco garden the hut there to take pictures again. It was the last chance everyone had to capture the fond memories that we had for one another. For after this day, we may not hav the chance to meet up as a whole again as some of us are bound to go on our seperate ways to start a brand new journey. hmmm then we suddenly had the urge to sing Np songs and cheers again. Hoho yaa did the bili banja thing. hmmm really, the sight of tt scene where we danced and sang in unison can make one's eyes sore.
Ltr in the evening went to IMM and had KFC together. went up to chat and tok crap awhile before leaving. hmmm think back wad CI had sae bout finding the best companies is really true. you may not believe it until u had gone through it and experience it urself. to think we once wasted those precious time when we had. Anw, it has been a wonderful experience being part of NP and its nice to hav made some really true frens. i think this memory will last me a very very very long way down the rd. hahas hope tt our souls and voices will remain in the hearts of NHNP for the future generations to hear.
